Makus Empanadas – a Durham-based Latin American restaurant with a presence in the popular Morgan Street Food Hall – will offer their delicious and portable savory pastries within the Brickyard Pizza venue.  This new concept will open this Fall semester.

Dough Ingredients: Wheat flour, water, margarine, refined tallow fat, Emulsifier (mono & diglycerides), Preservatives (potassium sorbate, BHT), salt, Preservatives (Calcium propionate and potassium sorbate), Acidulant (citric acid). (Contains wheat)

  • BEEF (B)
    • hand cut beef, onion, salt, oregano, ground cumin, paprika, red pepper, panko
  • CHICKEN (C)
    • chicken, onion, salt, oregano, ground cumin, paprika, red pepper, black pepper, panko
  • PORK CHIMICHURRI (PC)

Vegetarian Dough Ingredients: Wheat flour, water, margarine, Palmiste, Soybean and Palm interesterified oils, Refinated soybean oil, sugar, salt, Emulsifier (mono & diglicerydes), natural flavors, citric acid. (Contains Wheat, Soybean, GMO Free)

  • ONION & CHEESE (OC)
    • onion, mozarella, parmesan, salt, oregano, black pepper, panko
  • SWEET CORN (SC)
    • creamy corn, whole corn, onion, parmesan, salt, oregano, red pepper, black pepper, sugar, panko
