Food Truck Request

Bringing a Food Truck to Campus:

Note: NC State Dining does not allow food trucks to sell to the public on campus. If you would like to have a food truck at your event, you or your department must pay for the truck to cater the event. Only under very limited circumstances will Dining approve food trucks to sell to the public on campus.

To have the food truck(s) you would like to invite to campus approved, please complete the form below. Before you begin, please have the following documentation for each truck ready for upload:

  • A completed and signed copy of this agreement for each food truck or vendor
  • A current Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing NC State University as additionally insured
  • A copy of the vendor’s most recent NC State health inspection or Department of Agriculture permit

If you experience issues with the form or uploading files, please contact Jason Perez at jperez4@ncsu.edu

    FAQ:

    Who completes the agreement?
Each food truck vendor participating in your event must complete the agreement.

    Why is this paperwork required?
This ensures all vendors comply with NC State’s health, safety, and operational standards.

When must the paperwork be submitted?
All documentation must be submitted at least one week prior to the event for review.

What if a vendor cannot provide the required paperwork?
Vendors who fail to submit all required documentation will not be approved to serve food or beverages on campus.

The food truck says they’ve submitted this before—do they need to submit it again?
Yes. Both the event organizer and the vendor are responsible for submitting documentation for each event. These materials must be resubmitted each time and are typically quick to complete.
