On the Oval is located on the lower level of Wolf Ridge Apartments, across from Hunt Library on Centennial Campus. This location has four stations, including a cafe for early-morning service.

On the Oval offers indoor and outdoor seating for up to 420 guests, along with a private dining room that seats up to 25 guests. To reserve the private dining room for a meeting, use the contact form below.

Click individual locations to view hours. Note that Fast Lunch Hours are 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and have limited stations. Newtons Cold Fusion and Grab n Go are offered during these times.

Oval – Gravity Café

Gravity Café is open mornings for breakfast Monday – Friday.  The Café is also open for dinner on Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner service.  The Café offers a a lineup of favorites such as chicken tenders, burgers, hot and cold sandwiches as well a few rotating specials and a Dinner Blue Plate special every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We also offer a line of Express Grab n Go products such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, snacks and gluten free options.

Oval – Cold Fusion Sandwiches + Salads

Made-to-order cold and hot sandwiches, wraps, as well as delicious house-made salads and soups. We feature panini sandwiches in our menu cycle as well as popular grab n go wraps, subs and sandwiches. Gluten-friendly options available upon request.

Fahrenheit features a rotating menu of chef-inspired entrees and sides.

Flashpoint offers a 6-week cycle of authentic global cuisine with made-to-order bowls, burritos, stir-fry dishes, with a variety of your favorite global flavors.

Allergy Disclaimer: NC State Dining makes effort to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those individuals with food allergies.
