Update on meal plans, dining on campus during COVID-19 pandemic

Per the Chancellor’s communication on March 17, 2020, any decisions about refunds for dining fees will be made by the UNC System after the immediate needs of safety and security are addressed for campus.

If you are experiencing acute food insecurity, visit https://dasa.ncsu.edu/pack-essentials and complete a Pack Essentials application.

Dining On Campus

Minimal campus dining facilities remain open to serve the small number of students who receive an on-campus housing exception as well as employees maintaining campus operations. The dining facilities have transitioned operations to provide take-out or similar options. For a complete list of locations open and their hours of operation, please visit dining.ncsu.edu/locations

Be Safe

As our Chancellor wrote, we, too, realize that this is not the spring term that any of us hoped for or planned. The weeks ahead will be challenging – not just because of these changes, but because most of us will be away from the people, places and spaces that make up our community. We truly believe there are still many ways we can come together and support each other from a distance, and we encourage you to do that. If you are missing your lunch or dinner group, for example, find a way to “eat together” online. Tag us at @NCStateDining and let us know how you’re doing.

Please stay safe, take care of yourselves, and do all you can to protect yourselves, your families and friends, and of course, our Pack.
