NC State Dining adds University Towers Dining Hall and other new options for the 2023-2024 academic year

Students will have more flexibility in how they use their meal plan this year due to exciting changes to the NC State Dining program.

University Towers Dining Hall is now accepting the NC State Dining meal plan. The dining hall is available to any student on an NC State Dining meal plan*. This change comes as a part of NC State’s lease agreement for University Towers. More information can be found on the NC State Dining website. 

One Earth in Talley Student Union has been converted to a takeout lunch option using compostable containers. The meal counts as a daily Pack&Go meal or block meal for Flex Plan or Block Plan meal holders, respectively. One Earth also accepts Dining Dollars, All Campus, Faculty/Staff payroll deduction and major credit cards. 

Social Fabric Cafe + Market has replaced Port City Java and the Shuttle in at the College of Textiles. This new location proudly serves Starbucks coffee and refreshing beverages in addition to a variety of grab-n-go sandwiches, salads, toasted sandwiches and pastries. Social Fabric accepts Dining Dollars, All Campus, Faculty/Staff payroll deduction and major credit cards. 

Duck Donuts’ delicious array of sweet treats are now available at Talley Market, located in Talley Student Union. Students can choose from a variety of daily flavors, including chocolate icing, vanilla Icing with sprinkles, glazed, and cinnamon sugar. Additionally, a limited-time flavor will be offered on a rotating basis, with maple bacon being the first.

 *Students on a meal plan not living in University Towers will be able to access the UT Dining Hall from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
