NC State Dining is celebrating Earth Month with a number of events on Friday, April 22:

Earth Day with the Blueberry Council

Brickyard

10 a.m. – Noon

Visit with the US Highbush Blueberry Council and get some fun blueberry-themed giveaways. You could win one of 10 $25 All Campus gift cards.

Spotlight on Blueberries at NC State Dining Halls

Fountain Dining Hall

11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Try our blueberry sweet & sour chicken bowl, vegetable potstickers with blueberry Thai chili dipping sauce. You can also ride our smoothie bike and make your own complimentary smoothie!

Clark Dining Hall

11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Try our pulled pork with blueberry BBQ sauce.

Case Dining Hall

7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Enjoy blueberry pancakes, blueberry parfaits and blueberry cream sauce.

11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Indulge in blueberry coffee cake with lemon drizzle, roasted BBQ bone chicken with blueberry bbq sauce, and a fresh berry mix on the salad bar.

5 – 6 p.m.

Join the Clark Dining Hall culinary team as they prepare dishes with local foods from the Agroecology Education Farm and Howling Cow Creamery. The menu includes sauteed kale and swiss chard with tamari tofu or seared salmon with blueberry sauce, fresh pasta primavera, smoothie bowls (blueberry, spinach, pineapple, acai bowl (almond or coconut milk and vanilla yogurt), and dirt cups (chocolate Howling Cow ice cream with Oreos and gummy worms).
